Vans

On the 16th of March 1966 Paul von Doren and three friends opened their first store in Anaheim, California. They produced shoes and sold them without intermediaries directly to the consumers. On the first day 12 customers bought "Vans Deck Shoes", which today is better known as "Authentic", and the rest is history.
